🍻 Geoff has had another look at Regular Season 5 and the picture is becoming clearer. Manchester City, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest provide some of the strongest-looking picks, while Newcastle v Hull City, Brentford v Chelsea and Fulham v Manchester United look much harder to call. Brighton's attacking form also makes their meeting with Arsenal particularly interesting. These are Geoff's opinions based on the latest information supplied, not guarantees.

Manchester City v Sunderland
Manchester City have 12 points from 12, are unbeaten and have conceded only twice in their last four league matches. Sunderland have managed just four points and three goals from their opening four. City are missing Phil Foden through suspension and Jérémy Doku is questionable, but Geoff still sees a strong home win.

Nottingham Forest v Coventry
Forest have five points while Coventry have lost all four league matches, scored no goals and conceded 10. Coventry are also without several players, including the suspended Taiwo Awoniyi and injured Aurèle Amenda. Geoff sees Forest as one of the clearest home picks of the weekend.

Brighton v Arsenal
Arsenal are top with 12 points from 12 and have conceded just once. Brighton have scored an impressive 13 goals in their four league games, so this is not without danger, but Arsenal's perfect start and recent head-to-head record give Geoff enough confidence to back the visitors.

Brentford v Chelsea
Brentford are unbeaten in their last four, while Chelsea have scored 10 but conceded nine in their supplied recent form. The last five meetings have produced three draws and Chelsea have several injury doubts, including Moisés Caicedo. Geoff sees this as a very difficult fixture to separate.

Newcastle v Hull City
Newcastle have only one win from four and are dealing with a number of absences. Hull are unbeaten with two wins and two draws and have conceded only twice. Newcastle have the historical head-to-head advantage, but the current form makes this much more dangerous than the league reputation suggests.

Fulham have only one point, but Manchester United have also made an inconsistent start with four points from four. United have several absences and arrive after losing their most recent match. The historical head-to-head favours United, but Geoff would not treat them as a banker here.

Everton are unbeaten in their last four but have drawn three of them. Ipswich have scored seven in their last four but conceded 10. Both sides have six points, making this a fixture where the prediction could easily swing either way.

Brentford v Chelsea
Chelsea's recent supplied matches have produced 19 goals across four games, while Brentford have also been scoring consistently. With both defences showing vulnerability, this has strong goal-fest potential.

Hull are unbeaten and have conceded only twice, while Newcastle have struggled for consistency and have several important absences. Geoff is not predicting a Hull win with certainty, but this is the fixture where he most strongly warns against automatically selecting the bigger club.

Everton's three draws from their last four make them difficult to trust as a straightforward home pick. Ipswich have shown they can score goals, so a surprise result is certainly possible if they can exploit Everton's defence.
